Diamond Fireplace and Stone - Biography / Interview Transcript

Hi, I'm Ken Grieves with Diamond Fireplace and Stone. What we do is obviously to do with the hearth industry, so anything in in and around the the fireplace in a home. We're able to do or tackle almost any task around the fireplace, from installation of a fireplace to finishing, as well as installing the stone or the mantels. We have our own on-site mantel shop. We've got some great cabinets for surrounding the fireplace, as well as, well, stone installation crews and such. But with our fireplaces themselves, we got a range that is with that comes from gas fireplaces, wood fireplaces, electric fireplaces. And that also encompasses stoves or any free-standing units like the ones that are in front of me right now. The it's it's funny, because you look at the any of the design magazines and and you flip through the pages, there's always a fireplace in the background of a lot of photos. You know, it it is the focal point for for that the main living space of the home. So, you know, people enjoy just sitting around in that space, and have that fire going, especially in the way the weather's been here in Calgary the last last little bit, it's become more of a focal point than ever. Well, Diamond Fireplace, we've been around for 27 years now. You know, we recently we've been awarded again, looking in the background, the Consumers Choice Award, for the ninth year in a row. We are we are also have been the SAM Award finalist for Subtrade Of The Year in the Calgary Regional Homebuilders Association. So we've been a finalist the last three years in a row. So, you know, we're we're a reputable company, we've been around for a while, and and we we do we get a lot of business because of word of mouth and referral. So, so I think that is says a lot about the people in within our company. We are there to service what we sell, and, you know, we we back up what we do. We don't shy away from any any any jobs. We're able to attack most most things and and go after it, and and I think a lot of people will appreciate that they're able to get ahold of us and we get things done for them. We if there's an issue, we we do our best to to look after any issues that that do come up.
